How many different cabinet lines does Sims-Lohman carry?
- Sims-Lohman carries seven different cabinet lines. We carry cabinets from full-custom to very affordable, and everything in between. We have cabinets for every room in your house, from hutches in your dining room, desks in your bedroom, bars in the basement, garage organization, places to store children’s toys in their playrooms, and of course your kitchen and bathrooms.
Does Sims-Lohman sell Quartz?
- Yes. We actually sell four different lines of quartz countertops.
What is the difference between Quartz and Granite?
- Quartz solid surface counter tops are a man made product fabricated using ground quartz. Quartz has a very uniform grain; not many variations throughout the product.
- Granite, however, is a natural stone, therefore no two pieces are alike. When choosing Granite you actually go to the manufacturer and pick out the slabs you want.
- Since quartz is man made it never has to be sealed.
- Granite is porous and needs to be sealed at least once a year.
Does Sims-Lohman sell vanity cabinets?
- Yes. Vanity cabinets are available in any door style of the seven cabinet manufacturers that we represent.
Does Sims-Lohman stock hardware or hinges?
- No. We do not stock hardware or hinges, but we can order in just about any style you might choose. We offer hardware from Amerock, Avante, and Schaub Select.
How much does a typical kitchen cost?
- This is a difficult question for us to answer without first spending time with the customer, obtaining pertinent information. For example, we will need to know which manufacturer (of the seven), which wood species, and door style of the cabinet is desired. Also, we will need to know the dimensions of the room the cabinets are going in.
Does Sims-Lohman install cabinets and countertops?
- No, but Sims-Lohman can act as a liaison between the homeowner and a list of qualified remodelers we have found to be very reliable. We do not have an installation crew on staff.
Does Sims-Lohman deliver?
- Yes, we deliver throughout the tri-state area. We deliver 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday.
How will I know when my cabinets are in?
- Your salesperson will get acknowledgments from the cabinet manufacturer telling them when the cabinets are scheduled to ship. When your product comes into our warehouse your salesperson will call you to set up a delivery date.
How will I know what the design of my new cabinets will look like?
- Here at Sims-Lohman, we use the industry’s leading cabinet design software, 2020. We can design the area where your cabinets are going to be installed, with great precision.
- You will be able to see 3-D renderings of the area, showing you how the space could look.
- We can even give you a virtual tour of the area.
